Under the DPDP Act everyone under 18 is a child. Parental consent is captured and recorded per student, and behavioural profiling of students isn't something we offer as a feature.
Biometrics stay optional
Face and fingerprint attendance are available where you want them, with consent recorded and retention limited, and a non-biometric path that works just as well for families who decline.
RTE rules enforced in software
A transfer certificate for a Class 1 to 8 student cannot be withheld over unpaid fees, because the Right to Education Act says so. The system won't let an administrator do it by accident.
The data belongs to the institution

FAQ
Good questions
Does it work for a network of campuses?
Yes. Each campus keeps its own fee structure, calendar, and staff, while the trust or group sees consolidated enrolment, collection, and attendance across all of them. Group policy pushes down, and local overrides stay possible.
Can we switch in the middle of an academic year?
You can, and some institutions have to. We run the old process in parallel through one full fee cycle and avoid cutting over during board exams or the admission rush.
Will our teachers actually use it?
That depends more on training than on software. Teacher-facing screens are deliberately narrow — attendance, marks, homework, messages — and training happens on site, in the language your staff teach in.
Our parents don't all use apps. What then?
WhatsApp is the primary channel with SMS behind it, because that is what reaches a parent on a basic handset in a low-bandwidth area. The app is for parents who want more, not the only way in.
Does it produce UDISE+, OASIS, and board reports?
Yes, in the prescribed formats, and it validates before submission. The name mismatch between your records and Aadhaar that would fail APAAR generation gets caught weeks ahead of the data freeze rather than on the deadline.
What about NAAC, NBA, and NIRF for our college?
All three draw on much the same underlying data: faculty records, student outcomes, research output, infrastructure. Capture it once and each submission is generated in its own format, with the cross-checks those bodies run against AISHE done before you file rather than after.
What does it cost per student?
We quote one all-in figure that includes implementation, training, and support. Worth asking every vendor you shortlist what SMS packs, gateway charges, customisation, and training add on top of the headline price, because that gap is usually where the budget goes.
What hardware do we need?
None to start. Biometric and RFID devices are optional, and if you already run ZKTeco or eSSL readers we'll use them. You get a costed hardware list before you buy anything, not after.
How long does it take to go live?
Six to ten weeks for a single campus with reasonably clean records. Your existing data is the variable, which is why the audit is step one and we tell you what we find before committing to a date.
