Privacy Policy
What we collect through this website, why we collect it, who sees it, and how to have it deleted. Every section opens with a one-line answer, so the short version takes about a minute.

We wrote this ourselves rather than pasting in a template, because a policy that describes forms we do not have and cookies we do not set is worse than no policy at all. Everything below describes what this website actually does. If something here does not match what you experience on the site, tell us at info@anaghatechnosoft.com — that is a bug in the policy and we will fix it.

Who we are, and what this policy covers
In shortAnagha Technosoft runs this website. This policy covers anaghatechnosoft.com, including the careers portal — not the systems we build and operate for our clients.
Anagha Technosoft builds software and AI products and delivers engineering, consulting, and staffing services. We operate from Irving, Texas; Hyderabad, India; and Norwich, United Kingdom. For the information you send us through this website, we are the controller — we decide what is collected and why, and we are the ones you hold accountable for it.
This policy does not cover:
- Client systems. When we build or run software for a client, the client decides what is collected and we act on their instructions. Their privacy policy governs that data, not this one.
- Sites we link to. See section 13.
- Employees and contractors. Staff data is handled under our internal HR notice, which we give you when you join.

The information we collect
In shortOnly what you type into a form. There are two forms on this site — the contact form and the job application — and no account to create.
When you contact us
The contact form asks for your name, email address, the type of inquiry, and your message. Company and phone number are optional. That submission is emailed to the right person on our team; it is not stored in a database on this site.
When you apply for a role
The application form requires your name, email address, phone number, and a resume (PDF or Word, up to 8 MB). LinkedIn URL, location, and a cover note are optional. Alongside what you enter, we record which role you applied to, when you applied, and a one-way SHA-256 hash of your IP address. We store the hash, never the address itself, and we use it only to stop the same source from submitting the form hundreds of times.
What our servers log
Our hosting provider keeps ordinary web-server request logs — IP address, time, page requested, browser user-agent — for security and troubleshooting. We do not use them to build a profile of you, and they age out on a short cycle.
What we never ask for here
This website collects no payment card details, no government identification numbers, and no special category data — health, race, religion, political views, sexual orientation, biometrics, or trade union membership. Please do not include any of that in a message, cover note, or resume. If you send it anyway, we delete it when we notice it.
- 03
How we use your information
In shortTo answer you, to run our hiring process, and to keep the site working and un-abused. Nothing else — no advertising profiles, no model training.
- To reply to you. Contact-form submissions are routed to the team that can actually answer — sales and general inquiries to info@anaghatechnosoft.com, careers inquiries to hr@anaghatechnosoft.com.
- To run the hiring process. Reviewing your application, arranging interviews, reaching you about the role you applied to, and — where you have not asked us to delete it — considering you for later openings that fit.
- To keep the site secure. Rate limiting, spam and abuse prevention, and investigating problems with the site.
- To meet legal obligations. Keeping records we are required to keep, and responding to lawful requests from authorities.
We do not use what you send us to train AI models, ours or anyone else's. We do not build advertising or behavioural profiles. We do not send marketing email to people who only ever filled in the contact form to ask a question.

Where AI is used in hiring — and where it is not
In shortAn AI model reads your resume and suggests a fit score. It never decides anything. Every shortlist, rejection, and offer is made by a person.
We build AI products, so we owe you a straight answer about where we use them on ourselves. When you apply through this site, the text of your resume is sent to our AI provider — OpenAI or Anthropic, depending on which is configured — for two purposes:
- Extraction. Pulling structured details out of the document — skills, job titles, dates, education — so a recruiter can search them instead of re-reading every file.
- An advisory fit score. A score against the specific role, with the matched skills and the gaps written out.
Three commitments come with that:
- No automated decisions. Scores are advisory and nothing acts on them. No application is auto-rejected, auto-ranked-and-filtered, or moved forward without a person at Anagha reading it and deciding.
- Every result is attributable. We record which model and which prompt version produced each extraction and each score, so any result we hold about you can be explained or reproduced on request.
- No training on your resume. Our providers process this content under API terms that prohibit using it to train their models, and we do not use it for training either.
You can ask us at hr@anaghatechnosoft.com to see the extraction and score we hold for your application, or to have your application reviewed without AI assistance. Either request is fine, and neither affects how we treat your candidacy.

Our legal bases for using it
In shortIf you are in the UK, EU, or a region with comparable law: consent, steps taken at your request before a contract, our legitimate interests, and legal obligation.
- Contact form — consent, and our legitimate interest in responding to people who ask us something. You can withdraw consent at any time by asking us to delete the correspondence.
- Job applications — steps taken at your request before entering a contract of employment or engagement, plus our legitimate interest in running a consistent, documented hiring process.
- Hashed IPs and server logs — legitimate interest in keeping the site available and free of automated abuse.
- Records we are required to keep — legal obligation.
Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have weighed them against your rights and concluded they do not override yours. If you disagree in your case, tell us — see section 11.
- 08
Where your information goes
In shortWe work across the United States, India, and the United Kingdom, so your information may be handled in any of the three.
Our recruiting and engineering teams sit in Irving, Texas; Hyderabad, India; and Norwich, United Kingdom. An application submitted through this site may be read by authorised staff in any of those locations, and our providers may store data in the United States or the European Union.
For transfers out of the UK or EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards — standard contractual clauses with our providers, together with access controls that keep application records visible only to the recruiters working the role. If you want detail on the safeguards covering a specific transfer, ask us and we will describe them.
- 09
How long we keep it
In shortInquiries: up to 24 months. Applications and resumes: up to 24 months after the process closes — sooner if you ask.
- Contact-form correspondence — kept while we handle your inquiry and for no longer than 24 months after our last exchange.
- Job applications, resumes, and the extraction and score derived from them — kept for up to 24 months after the hiring process for that role closes, so we can consider you for openings that come up later. The resume file is deleted together with the application record.
- Hashed IPs and server logs — kept on a short cycle measured in weeks, for security only.
When a retention period ends, or when you ask us to delete sooner, we remove the record and the stored file. Ask at info@anaghatechnosoft.com for site inquiries or hr@anaghatechnosoft.com for applications, and we will confirm once it is done.
- 10
How we protect it
In shortEncrypted in transit, held in an access-controlled database, and visible only to the staff who need it for the role you applied to.
The site is served over HTTPS throughout. Application records live in a managed Postgres database, and the recruiting dashboard that reads them sits behind authentication with sessions that expire. Uploaded resumes are checked by file signature and size before they are accepted, so the upload path takes documents and not executables.
No system is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant regulator where the law requires it, with what we know and what we are doing about it.
- 11
Your rights, and how to use them
In shortAsk for a copy, a correction, or a deletion. Email us — there is no form to fill in — and we respond within 30 days.
Depending on where you live, you have some or all of these rights:
- Access — a copy of the personal information we hold about you, including the resume extraction and fit score if you applied.
- Correction — fix anything inaccurate or incomplete.
- Deletion — have your record and resume removed.
- Objection and restriction — object to processing based on legitimate interests, or ask us to pause it while a dispute is resolved.
- Portability — receive what you gave us in a machine-readable form.
- Withdrawing consent — at any time, without affecting what was lawful before you withdrew it.
- Complaint to a regulator — the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK, or your national supervisory authority in the EEA. We would rather you came to us first, but you are not required to.
If you are in California
You have the right to know what we collect and why, to request deletion or correction, and not to be discriminated against for exercising either. As stated in section 7, we do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.
How to make a request
Email info@anaghatechnosoft.com for anything about this website, or hr@anaghatechnosoft.com for a job application, and say what you want done. We answer within 30 days. We will ask for enough detail to find your records — usually the email address you used — and we will not demand identity documents unless the request is one where getting it wrong would expose someone else's data.
- 12
Children
In shortThis site is built for businesses and adult job seekers. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Nothing here is directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information through this site, write to info@anaghatechnosoft.com and we will delete it.
- 13
Links to other sites
In shortOnce you click out — to LinkedIn, a client site, a job board — that site's policy applies, not ours.
This website links to other organisations, including our LinkedIn page and the sites of companies we work with. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their privacy practices. Read their policies before giving them information.
- 14
Changes to this policy
In shortThe date at the top of this page changes whenever the policy does. Significant changes get called out here before they take effect.
We update this policy when what we do changes — a new provider, a new feature, a new legal requirement. The “last updated” date at the top always reflects the current version. When a change materially affects how we handle information you have already given us, we will say so on this page, and we will contact you directly where the law requires it. Continuing to use the site after an update means the updated policy applies to you.
